Biography of Arden Pope

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. C. Arden Pope is a professor of economics from Brigham Young University in the US and one of the best experts in the world of environmental science. He earned his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University in 1978 and earned a professor at the University of Iowa in 198, where Arden Pope studied economics and statistics.

Although the topic of studies Arden Pope is in the field that he had learned as environmental economics, resource economics, and agricultural economics, he is better known to the world because of his hard work in terms of environmental epidemiology and public health.

Arden Pope has conducted many studies related to natural resource and environmental issues, but most of the research more than 15 years has been focused on the evaluation of the costs and health effects of air pollution. In addition, he also has conducted many researches primer on the health effects of air pollution. Dr. Pope ever visited scientists public health and regulatory environment at Harvard University.

Additionally, Arden Pope has had an important role in reviewing and interpreting literature, as well as an expert in air pollution are well known in the world. He is known by the world because of the importance of work on the effects of dust pollution on mortality and health. His articles have helped establish the relationship between air pollution and health problems.

Dr. Pope has received many awards in a variety of research and teaching that has been done. Some of them are; Thomas T. Mercer Joint Prize of the American Association for Aerosol Research and the International Society for Aerosols in Medicine (2001), The Utah Governor's Medal for science and Technology (2004), and others.
