Abraham Samad is a lawyer who is now the chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) 2011-2015. He is the youngest chairman of the Commission. Critical attitude began to grow in junior high school. This critical attitude is then reflected from its very uncomfortable against the injustice he encountered. Entering the world of college, Abraham increasingly finding a place to express themselves.

After completing his studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Hasanuddin (UNHAS) Makassar in 1992, Abraham was a little shaky in the determination of professional careers will they do later. On the one hand, he was very eager to pursue the profession of advocate, but on the other hand, his mother is hoped that Abraham to become a bureaucrat.

Abraham began his career as a lawyer with the first apprentice. Since the first set foot in the wilderness of law enforcement in Indonesia he increasingly understand that the Indonesian legal system is not running as it should.

In Makassar, Samad known as anti-corruption activist. He is the initiator and coordinator of Anti Corruption Committee in the province. One of the cases of corruption that he never dismantle the cases involving the mayor of Makassar. As a result of the steps, homes and businesses destroyed his wife's ever a group of people. Through this NGO, Abraham wants to encourage good governance. Abraham also served as Legal Advisor Team Legislative Oversight Committee (KOPEL) Sulawesi.

He took off his profession as a lawyer when registering at KPK leader selection committee. During the fit and proper test, Abraham is the candidate who dared to promise to resign without leadership is urged if one year without success.
