Tony Burke Stephen Anthony or Tony Burke is an Australian politician from the Labour Party. The man who was born in 1969 is also the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities in the Australian government. He studied and became vice-captain in St.

Patrict's College, Srthfield, after graduating from the Regina Coeli. He is also a graduate of the University of Sydney on the faculty of Arts and Law.

In 1995 he was awarded the Martin Sorensen as best speaker at InterVarsity Australasian Debating Championships, a debate. He was chosen as the Legislative Council of New South Wales in 2003, but not before he had worked on as organaizer in the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees' Association. 24 June 2004 he resigned from the NSW division of the federal parliament to campaign Watson and gain positions in the 2004 Federal Election.
